Mirror, Mirror on the bike...
There has been some debate on what is the correct mirror specification for UK FWDD bikes. On one side the period brochures and more importantly the press bikes featured round mirrors, with a lot of restorers following suit and fitting round mirrors to their bikes today. My bike in 1989 had rectangle mirrors, and these were definitely OEM and not a pattern style replacement part, which is why I fitted rectangle mirrors to my own restoration.

I have been noting CMSNL has been having a new wave of genuine spares, which included some new genuine round Honda mirrors and considering I needed a new front mudguard decal I decided to push the button and switch to round.
And here they are, fresh from
CMSNL in the original Honda, boxes !
